Magruder Elementary School releases first-grade supplies list

Magruder Elementary School has released its supply list for children entering the first grade.

The needed supplies include two marble composition notebooks, one two-pocket folder with prongs, two two-packet folders, two dozen Ticonderoga No. 2 sharpened pencils, a standard 5-by-8 pencil box, two boxes of 24 crayons, 12 glue sticks, one pair of scissors, one package of 4-by-6 index cards, one four pack of Expo dry erase markers, one bottle of hand sanitizer, one large box of tissues, one box of hand wipes, a backpack without wheels and ear buds, which are available at the dollar store.

All supplies should be labeled with the student's name in permanent marker. Agendas can also be purchased from the school for $3.

The 2012-13 school year for Magruder Elementary School students starts Tuesday, Sept. 4.
