Magruder Elementary School releases fifth-grade supplies list

Magruder Elementary School has announced the supply list for children entering fifth grade.

Supplies required are one two-inch binder that is not a Trapper Keeper, four two-pocket folders, scissors, four glue sticks, dividers, one pack of highlighters, mechanical pencils with lead refills or a 24 pack of number two pencils, colored pencils, four black Expo markers, three boxes of tissues, two marble composition notebooks, one spiral notebook, four packs of wide-ruled notebook paper, a pencil pouch that can be placed in a binder and a pencil sharpener with a lid.

Also, girls are to bring sandwich bags and boys are to bring index cards. Gel pens are not allowed. All school supplies should be labeled with the student's name in permanent marker.

Agendas can be purchased from the school for $3.

York County Schools Division, including Magruder Elementary, begins school Tuesday, Sept. 4.
