Chamber Challenge golf tournament to be held Aug. 10

The Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Alliance is hosting the Chamber Challenge golf tournament Friday, Aug. 10, at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club Green Course.

The 18-hole tournament will feature a captain's choice format, according to an event flyer distributed by the Chamber of Commerce. The opening tee time is scheduled for 1 p.m.

The event will also include a raffle and awards, as well as a dinner following the conclusion of the tournament. The registration deadline was July 27.

The Golden Horseshoe Golf Club Green Course is located at 651 S. England St., in Williamsburg.

The Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Alliance was established in 1938 to serve the city of Williamsburg and the counties of James City and York, according to its website. It represents more than 900 area business, educational institutions and nonprofit companies.
