Williamsburg Regional Library releases Aug. 21-25 program schedule

The following programs will take place at the Williamsburg Regional Library from Tuesday, Aug. 21 to Saturday, Aug. 25:

The sci-fi and fantasy book group will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21 at the James City County Library. The group will be discussing tales of survival in speculative fiction. To register, email rtred@cox.net.

The "Adventures of Marco Polo" will be screened as part of Thursday Films at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23 at the Williamsburg Library. The movie stars Gary Cooper and tells the story of Marco Polo's travels from Venice to the court of Kublai Khan.

Two upcoming computer classes, Introduction to Word and Intermediate Excel, are full and scheduled to be taught Thursday, Aug. 23.

The Busch Gardens Meet and Play youth service will give children the chance to meet characters from Busch Gardens. The event will be at 11 a.m. at the Williamsburg Library and 1:30 p.m. at the James City County Library both programs will be Saturday, Aug. 25.
