The Girl Scout Council of Colonial Coast hosted a reunion for former scout campers and staff members Aug. 18 at Camp Skimino.

The reunion was one of four taking place in southeastern Virginia in celebration of the Girl Scouts' 100th anniversary, according to a press release. Thirty-five attendees participated in the social gathering, which included camp songs and dances in the dining hall.

The Girl Scout Council of Colonial Coast serves nearly 16,500 girls and over 6,000 adults in southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina, according to the release.

Camp Skimino is located at 448 Fenton Mill Road, in Williamsburg.

The next reunion in the area will be held Saturday, Sept. 22 at the Girl Scout Burkes Mill Pond Camp located near Gloucester.
