Free Virginia Symphony concert set for Aug. 30

A free Virginia Symphony concert, hosted by the city of Williamsburg, will start at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30 at William & Mary's Lake Matoaka Amphitheatre, in Williamsburg.

Food and drinks will be available. The free event is open to the public.

The event is an introductory performance to Arts Month in Williamsburg. Everyone is invited to bring family and friends, and beach chairs and blankets to sit on.

William & Mary's Lake Matoaka Amphitheatre is located at 121 Ukrop Way.
