Cocaine charges against Scales continued until Sept. 28 hearing

Newport News Circuit court reported a capias hearing involving Carl Leroy Scales Jr. at 10 a.m. Aug. 20 in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Case CR10000730-01 was filed on Nov. 22, 2010, with a reinstatement hearing against Scales.

The defendant was arrested on Aug. 18 on charges of possession of cocaine.

The result of the Aug. 20 hearing is listed as continued.

There is a revocation hearing scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28.
