York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office seeking woman in counterfeit case

Deputies with the York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office are looking for an unknown woman who allegedly paid for gas with a counterfeit $20 bill around 7:30 p.m. Aug. 17, according to a sheriff's office press release.

The incident occurred at the 7-Eleven location at 1691 Merrimac Trail, Williamsburg.

The woman is described as a young-looking black woman with black hair, standing between 5 foot and 5-foot-5, weighing approximately 140 pounds to 160 pounds, and was last seen wearing a red top.
