Royal Rangers launch national fundraising campaign

The Royal Rangers recently launched a national fundraising campaign involving hand sanitizer.

According to a press release, members of mentoring program will participate in the Make the Case campaign which entails selling cases of HandsFirst, is a nonalcohol hand sanitizer, to local businesses. HandsFirst is medically documented to last up to three hours without having to reapply, according to the release.

"By asking each Royal Ranger to sell just one case of HandsFirst we are eliminating door-to-door selling and the time needed to sell one or two items at a time," said Charlie Braman, outpost coordinator, in the release. "We aren't asking businesses to spend additional money, but just to redirect the money they're already spending on hand sanitizer towards the Royal Rangers."

Funds generated from the campaign will benefit local Royal Rangers with their annual expenses, including uniforms or attending camps.

"We are excited to kick this campaign off nationwide during our 50th anniversary year," said Doug Marsh, national director of Royal Rangers, in the release. "Make the Case is a great way to generate necessary funds to further the mission of your local Royal Ranger outpost."
