Golf tournament set for Oct.19 in Hartfield

A golf tournament, hosted by Glucester County Sheriff's Office, is set to take place at Piankatank River Golf Club in Hartfield on Friday, Oct. 19.

The tournament is scheduled to start at noon.

Tournament proceeds will benefit the Shop With a Cop program which has been utilized to assist underprivileged children.

Food and drinks will be available. The event is open to the public. Admission is $75 per person or $300 for a team.

Piankatank River Golf Club is at 6198 Stormont Road.
