Williamsburg Police Department incident report, Sept. 24-25

The Williamsburg Police Department responded to the following incidents on Sept. 24 and Sept. 25:

Sept. 24, 11 a.m.: Annoying phone calls at Quarterpath
Sept. 25, 2:38 p.m.: Nonreportable offenses on Rolfe
Sept. 25, 8:28 p.m.: Larceny from building on Richmond
Sept. 25, 10:15 p.m.: Disorderly conduct at Capitol Landing
Sept. 25, 10:25 p.m.: Hit-and-run on Richmond

Dave Sloggie is the chief of the Williamsburg Police Department. The department offers several programs to the community, including Neighborhood Watch, Project Lifesaver, house checks and the Heads Up program for emergency responders. The department was accredited in 1987 and has received re-accreditation five times.
