'The Guard' will be played at Williamsburg Regional Library

Williamsburg Regional Library will play "The Guard" as part of their Celtic Film Series on Wednesday, Oct. 10.

The film is an R-rated black comedy about a rural Irish policeman who pairs with an straitlaced FBI agent to bring down international drug smugglers.

The all-ages group will meet from 7 p.m. Tuesday in the library's Room B.

The event is free. Registration is not required.
