12 Williamsburg runners complete Disney's Princess Half Marathon

Twelve athletes from Williamsburg completed the Disney's Princess Half Marathon (Women's Division) on Feb. 24 in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

The runners from Williamsburg and their finishing times were Kari Zieser, 29, 1:38:50; Amanda Gada, 40, 1:59:30; Samantha Early, 20, 2:31:42; Lauren Duguay, 24, 2:32:25; Ashley Hockensmith, 26, 2:47:02; Catherine Fernholz, 27, 3:07:56; Jenna Thomas, 23, 3:07:56; Shannon Roeske, 36, 3:21:59; Becky Krantz, 26, 3:35:23; Valerie Dipaola, 51, 3:53:38; Terri Roettinger, 42, 3:59:05; and Kristi Wagner, 40, 3:59:09.

Race organizers said 21,241 runners finished the 13.1-mile race, which began and ended at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.

Rachel Booth was the winner in the women's category with a time of 1:17:38.
